The sights and sounds of spring are popping up all around us here in the Midwest. The snow has melted giving way to fresh flower beds ready for flowers to pop through. With a new season brings many new opportunities to help others.

Our current pandemic has not stopped Royal Neighbors members from impacting their community through volunteerism – they are just doing it a little differently – with a little help from our Difference Maker Fund.

It’s back-to-school time, and although that may look different now during a pandemic, there are still ways for you to make a difference in the lives of children and teachers in your community.

Our members have upheld the Royal Neighbors tradition of serving communities for 125 years especially during times when our world and nation have been challenged by natural disasters, war, and pandemics.

Royal Neighbors Member Jean Baker has been an active member of her chapter in Hillsboro, Oregon for many years – which is fitting because volunteering is her hobby.

Making a difference can be as simple as passing along a tissue. Royal Neighbors Member Lindsay Keltch decided to pass along hundreds to her local high school.
