Volunteer this holiday season with our support!

Member and Royal Neighbors Employee Amy Jones hosted a holiday party to collect socks and undergarments for her local homeless shelter. She used her $200 to provide food and activities for kids at the party. More than 500 pairs of socks were donated.

With the holiday season quickly approaching, it’s a great time to start planning your next philanthropic project. As a Royal Neighbors Member, you can apply for a Difference Maker Fund grant once a year to help offset the costs of your volunteer project. If approved, you will receive a check up to $200 to make a positive social impact in your community.

Here are a few ideas to help you make a difference this holiday season.

  • Organize a costume drive for an underfunded school
  • Create Halloween treat bags for children in foster care
  • Participate in a local trunk-or-treat
  • Donate food and treats to a local food bank
  • Host a blood drive

  • Make and serve a hot meal at a local homeless shelter
  • Send gratitude cards to military service members
  • Host a food drive in your driveway
  • Host a water tent at a local turkey trot
  • Organize a warm clothing drive

  • Purchase and decorate a tree for an assisted living facility
