Rather than sending the many boxes and plastic bags that pass through Royal Neighbors’ Document Printing Center (DPC) to the recycling bin, our team donates them to the All Saints Food Pantry & Free Clothing Closet in Davenport, Iowa.
Our DPC regularly receives sturdy boxes and strong plastic bags from print supply materials. While we already separate packaging for recycling, we realized that when a box or bag is still in good condition, it could be put to better use to help others.
By donating these items, we not only extend their lifecycle but also support All Saints in meeting a real need. Our surplus boxes and bags reduce their expenses and packaging waste, allowing the pantry to stretch its resources further. Our DPC team’s effort helps free up All Saints’ funds for essential items like food and hygiene supplies.
This partnership has helped our team connect more deeply with the needs of our community. Through it, our DPC employees experience firsthand how collaboration between organizations can uplift neighbors. Each donated box or bag now serves a new purpose in carrying hope and support. It’s a small act with a meaningful, local impact.
