(Rock Island, IL) – Ten students discovered a clever way to help fund their college tuition – by receiving a New Horizons scholarship through Royal Neighbors of America. The recipients get a non-renewable scholarship of up to $5,000 each year to pursue a degree at an accredited college or university.

Christina Mastio of Parkville, MO, knows what it takes to make miracles happen. With the help of a $10,000 grant from Royal Neighbors of America’s Nation of Neighbors Program, she will expand Northland Miracles, the non-profit she co-founded to help identify and rectify gaps in service to women and children in partnership with schools and social workers.
