Honey Crunch Popcorn

Our Honey Crunch Popcorn has been making family time sweeter since 1986! Originally featured in our Here’s What’s Cooking cookbook, this sweet treat is perfect to make with the kids and share while watching a movie or a playing a board game.

Ingredients
3 qts. popped popcorn
½ cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
¼ cup honey
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions
Preheat oven to 250° F. Spread popcorn in a large buttered baking dish. Melt butter; stir in brown sugar, honey, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add baking soda and vanilla. Slowly pour over popcorn mixture, mixing well. Bake about 1 hour, stir every 15 minutes. Remove from oven, cool, and store in an air-tight container.

How to Make this Recipe Lighter
– Use light butter or margarine.
– Use a salt substitute or do not add salt.
