At Royal Neighbors, our highest priority is always the health and well-being of our members, employees, and communities. Over the last 125 years, our Society has faced crisis on many occasions – natural disasters, disease, world wars, the Depression and recessions. During these times, our strength and unity, rooted in the values of our Founders, have seen us through to better times. Today is no different.
To support our members during this crisis, we have implemented a 90-day grace period for all of our certificateholders. This means you will have at least 90-days after your first missed premium to make a payment, if one is due.
In addition, the Commissioner of the Department of Banking and Insurance of New Jersey (“Commissioner”) has provided additional guidance to insurance carriers. This guidance provides that all insurance companies who do business in the state of New Jersey must provide their members with a 90-day grace period to begin retroactively on April 1, 2020 or prospectively on May 1, 2020.
