Royal Neighbors is one of the largest women-led life insurers in the U.S. We have a solid financial base and more than 120 years of stability and integrity, but our most valuable asset is not our strong financial health. It’s our employees. The women and men who work for us are the heart, soul, and brains of our organization, and we invest in them. Here are a few examples.
This Forum is an opportunity for management and employees to interact and communicate regularly with each other in a business casual setting. Quarterly networking events also take place between the Leadership Forum and the Executive Team.
We believe in promoting from within and average about 10-15% internal promotion rate per year. Employees are encouraged to use career pathing information available on our employee communication site to acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience they need to grow and advance in their careers.
“You never truly know someone until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes” is more than an American adage; it can be useful career advice. Job rotation allows employees to cross train in other positions and broaden their skills. Employees expand their knowledge base, and Royal Neighbors’ teams enjoy a wider range of new and fresh ideas.
Royal Neighbors values individuals who believe in life-long learning and who continuously pursue new career challenges. We reinforce employees’ education and learning with onsite training programs, leadership training, opportunities to attend offsite seminars and training courses, and webinars. In addition, a tuition reimbursement program is available to all employees.
