Royal Neighbors of America offers a number of fraternal and community service programs through the chapter system. This section provides a brief overview of some of the rules and requirements involved. Some of the existing programs within the chapter system are under review. Please check back for the latest information.

In order to assist our chapters in demonstrating the true meaning of fraternalism by raising funds to benefit their local community or to help a less fortunate family or individual, we provide a Matching Funds program. This program matches the proceeds from chapter fund-raising events up to $1,000 each year. All or a portion of the funds they raise may be matched by a grant from Royal Neighbors.

To apply for the program, a chapter’s event must receive prior approval from the Home Office by submitting Request form 1152 with a chapter officer's signature.
Eligible recipients include individuals, families, and communities. However, chapters may choose the same recipient only once every three calendar years. Each chapter may sponsor multiple projects to reach the maximum match level. Chapters also can join together for a fund-raiser!
Royal Neighbors will send event invitations to members, free of charge. However, we do require 45 days advance notice in order to prepare and mail them. We will also provide a souvenir for the event. After the event, please submit a report using form 1153.

Our Teddy Bear program allows chapters to request 10 free Royal Neighbors Teddy bears each year to be given to organizations that help children in time of need. Examples include pediatric burn units, sheriff departments, fire stations, etc. Additional bears may be purchased at cost. For more information
