Royal Neighbors of America makes a $10,000 difference for Haiti relief - 03/02/10
Rock Island, IL—Local chapters of Royal Neighbors of America, Rock Island, teamed up with Mulligan’s Valley Pub, Coal Valley; Mel Foster; Happy Joe’s; and Rudy’s to raise more than $5,000 for the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund with a $5,000 match from Royal Neighbors.
The fund-raising event was held at The Rock in Coal Valley. In addition to tacos and pizza for a minimum donation of $5, there was Karaoke, a silent auction, and cultural dance performances.
As a non-profit fraternal organization, Royal Neighbors of America exists for the benefit of its members. It offers insurance products to fulfill a variety of needs for growth, savings, and protection.
