Royal Neighbors’ CEO, Cynthia Tidwell, named NAPW Professional Woman of the Year

(Rock Island, IL)—Cynthia A. Tidwell, LLIF, President and CEO of Royal Neighbors of America, was honored as a 2010/2011 Professional Woman of the Year in Insurance by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). The NAPW is an exclusive network for professional women to interact, exchange ideas, educate, and empower. It also supports and endorses a diverse syndicate of charities and nonprofit organizations focused on women's issues and child wellness.
Ms. Tidwell has been leading Royal Neighbors since 2005. During her tenure, the organization has reached record-setting sales in life insurance and annuities, has expanded its distribution channel, and reinvigorated its community-based volunteerism and philanthropy.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in managing change and turnaround initiatives in the insurance industry, Ms. Tidwell has achieved progressive growth as a senior level strategist through a series of challenging professional assignments. Her business acumen spans the scope of insurance administration functions from sales, marketing, claims, and underwriting to the information technology and human resource operations of agency management.
