Know Your Worth® financial seminars for women to be held in Phoenix by Royal Neighbors Foundation

(ROCK ISLAND, IL) – The Royal Neighbors Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, is hosting one in a series of Know Your Worth® financial education seminars for women in Phoenix on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 2 - 3 p.m. As more and more women become solely responsible for their finances, the need for financial education increases. Through financial seminars, workbooks, and Web-based tools, the Royal Neighbors Foundation educates and motivates women of all backgrounds to secure their financial futures by managing and multiplying their money more effectively.

By attending this Managing Income and Expenses seminar, women will gain the confidence to manage their finances by learning how to live within their means, reduce debt, prepare for financial emergencies, and save for the future.

The Royal Neighbors Foundation will also be providing a special workshop for the women at Autumn House women’s shelter in Mesa, AZ, on Thursday, November 4. This workshop will provide the women served by the shelter basic financial information as they learn to manage their money.
Both presentations will be given by Betty Evans, Education Specialist. Betty teaches Financial Education workshops in the community and has certification from NCHEC in Pre-Purchase Homeownership Education, certification from Consumer Data Industry Association for completion of Fair Credit Reporting Act and Certification of Completion from NeighborWorks for completion of Foreclosure Basics.
Betty has a Master’s Degree in Education from CSU, Long Beach, CA, and has taught high school Consumer Education/Independent Living Skills classes for the CA Youth Authority. She worked in Escrow for ten years in Arizona and has both a California & Arizona Real Estate Sales License.
