Scholarships

Since 1961, Royal Neighbors has helped our members reach their education goals. In fact, we have provided $3 million in scholarships to our members. 

High School Seniors

Those who will attend college immediately following graduation and are insured by or own an annuity with Royal Neighbors can apply for:

• Making a Difference Scholarships – Ten scholarships are awarded annually to members who are high school seniors and are attending four-year colleges the following year. Each scholarship winner receives $2,000 a year for four years.

• Know Your Worth Scholarships – One scholarship is given annually to the most outstanding female among the Making A Difference applicants. This individual is awarded $5,000 per year for four years of college study.

Returning Students

Specifically designed to help members who decide to return to college or to seek additional certification to advance their careers, our scholarships can help you better yourself while reducing the impact your education fees would have on your family finances.

• Life Enrichment Scholarships – Five scholarship applicants receive a one-time check for $500. Applicants must be over 21 and pursuing short-term coursework.

• New Horizons Scholarships – Ten one-time scholarships are awarded annually to females over the age of 35 in amounts of up to $5,000.

• New Horizons Leader Scholarships – Royal Neighbors grants one annual award of up to $5,000 a year for up to four years to reward a female over the age of 35 who goes above and beyond to volunteer in her community and achieve financial security, health and wellness.
