2/20/2008

Contact: Rita Toalson, FLMI, ACS (309) 732-8376

(ROCK ISLAND, IL)— Royal Neighbors of America, a not-for-profit membership organization, is providing financial aid to its members affected by recent tornadoes. The organization is making an extensive effort to reach its members in the affected areas, so they know Royal Neighbors is standing by to support them with disaster cash aid. Royal Neighbors would like to remind any of its members who suffered a loss due to the recent tornadoes that they may qualify for monetary Fraternal Aid.

Working through its local chapters and other organizations in the area, Royal Neighbors is trying to reach affected members in order to distribute monetary assistance. Royal Neighbors members are asked to call (800) 627-4762, ext. 8373, for details.

“Our hearts go out to these residents,” said Cynthia Tidwell, Royal Neighbors President/CEO. “We began helping victims of disasters back in 1906 following the San Francisco earthquake. Today, we continue to fulfill our legacy of neighbor-helping-neighbor.”

Royal Neighbors of America is a non-profit fraternal membership organization that insures lives, supports women, and serves communities.
